- Originally titled 'Insidious: The Bleeding World'.
- The sixth installation of the Indisdious franchise.
- For the first time, the franchise moves beyond the Lambert family, introducing Gemma and her daughter Maya.
- Lin Shaye returns as Elise Rainier, providing a familiar link to the Insidious universe.

Gemma grew up afraid of her own mother. As a child, she learned to take care of herself and keep her distance from Ingrid, whose unpredictable behaviour made her seem frightening.
One night, Gemma witnesses something that would stay with her forever. She sees her mother run into the bathroom with a knife in her hand before repeatedly hitting her head against the wall. Moments later, Ingrid is gone, leaving young Gemma to carry the trauma and unanswered questions with her into adulthood.
Years later, Gemma is a dental hygienist, a single mother to Maya and in a relationship with Nick, a police officer. She now lives with Maya in her childhood home, hoping to move forward from the memories of her past. But some things are not so easily forgotten.
It begins with three mysterious elderly figures who keep appearing wherever Gemma goes. Then, during one of her strange dreams, Gemma finds herself being pursued by one of them. When she wakes up, she discovers something impossible in her possession: a brooch that was given to her in the dream.
Things take an even darker turn at the dental clinic when Lester, one of the mysterious elderly figures, bites Gemma. After hitting her head, she finds herself wandering through a terrifying version of the clinic, surrounded by grotesque spirits and a frightening blindfolded man who restrains her in a chair.

Just when it seems there is no way out, a mysterious woman named Elise Rainer appears. She gives Gemma a book and sets her on a journey to uncover the truth behind what is happening to her.
Her search eventually leads her to Clare, a tattoo artist who, like Gemma, has the ability to astral project. Through Clare, Gemma discovers that she may possess a rare ability known as a courier, allowing her to transport objects between the supernatural realm known as the Further and the real world.
But what Gemma discovers next is far more terrifying.
The blindfolded man is Cyrus Lam, a cult leader who once promised his followers that death was not the end. Now, he wants to use Gemma’s ability to bring the dead back to the living world.
With Nick and Clare by her side, Gemma prepares to confront Cyrus in the Further. But the deeper she ventures into this supernatural world, the more she uncovers about her mother and the night of her death. What she learns forces Gemma to question everything she thought she knew about Ingrid.
And when Cyrus sets his sights on Maya, Gemma realizes this nightmare is no longer about her alone. Now, she has to protect her daughter from a force that has been waiting for their family for years.
Will Gemma be able to confront Cyrus and save Maya before it is too late?
