The moment Muzan Kibutsuji slithered back into the Infinity Castle, his monstrous fortress bent space and time, swallowing Tanjiro and the entire Demon Slayer Corps into its endless halls. Scattered across the dimension, each fighter was forced into their own deadly showdown with Muzan’s elite demons.
Facing the Upper Rank Two, Doma — the very demon who stole her sister Kanae’s life — Shinobu Kocho fought with everything she had. Her body, already infused with wisteria poison, became her weapon. And yet, the fight ended in tragedy. Doma, ever cold and mocking, killed and consumed her. When Kanao Tsuyuri arrived, it was too late. All she could do was step into Shinobu’s place, her grief igniting her resolve. The news of Shinobu’s fall spread quickly through a Kasugai crow’s cry, a bitter reminder of the Corps’ sacrifices.

Elsewhere, Zenitsu Agatsuma clashed with Kaigaku who was once his senior, now the new Upper Rank Six. Betrayal stung deeper than Kaigaku’s blades; his treachery had driven their master to suicide. Fueled by rage and loyalty, Zenitsu unveiled a secret: the Seventh Form of Thunder Breathing, a move he had crafted on his own. In a flash of lightning, he cut Kaigaku down before collapsing in exhaustion. In his unconscious haze, Zenitsu’s spirit met his master once more — and heard the words every student longs for: “You are my pride and joy.”
Meanwhile, Tanjiro and Giyu Tomioka faced Akaza, the fearsome Upper Rank Three. Even after unlocking his Demon Slayer Mark, Giyu struggled against the demon’s overwhelming strength. The turning point came when Tanjiro remembered his father’s teachings. By entering the Transparent World and embracing a Selfless State, Tanjiro masked his intent and sharpened his senses beyond human limits. With one decisive strike, he beheaded Akaza.
As they were about to rejoice upon killing Akaza, the demon’s body tried desperately to regenerate — until memories of his human life, and of Koyuki, the fiancée he had once loved, flooded back. In a final act of self-awareness, Akaza destroyed himself, choosing to face damnation hand in hand with Koyuki, his last smile etched with bittersweet peace.
After facing such losses under the weight of lesser demons, what happens when its master finally steps out of the shadows?

- The fighting sequences are beautiful.
- Love the new moves given by all.
What I Don't Like:
- Why the death?
- And why have to wait so long for the next two? I hate cliffhanging like this.
Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I would.
