- When brainstorming the intimidating airline CEO, Goldstein and Kelly instantly thought of Jennifer Lopez, writing the entire script with her "industrial levels of charm" in mind. They pitched it directly to her, and she signed on as both star and producer.

Jackie Cruz is a powerhouse. As the iron-willed CEO and President of Air Cruz, she sits at the helm of a massive aviation empire founded by her fiercely demanding father. With the company board breathing down her neck and a desperate need to finally earn her father’s elusive approval, Jackie runs her corporate ship with absolute, military-grade precision. And her most sacred rule is a strict, completely non-negotiable anti-fraternization policy. She has successfully engineered a flawless professional reputation. In order to achieve that, she has a meticulously constructed, completely isolated personal life.
Daniel Blanchflower is a reserved, impeccably buttoned-up British attorney and has just relocated to the United States under the weight of complicated family obligations. Whisked into Air Cruz as the new legal counsel, he is immediately thrown into the deep end of a high-stakes litigation case that requires him to work side-by-side with the imposing CEO herself. Despite their glaring cultural differences, the professional chemistry between them is instant and undeniable. When Daniel pulls off a masterclass performance during a tense corporate deposition, Jackie is genuinely impressed. However, their sudden, intense proximity begins to severely test the very boundaries she swore to uphold.

The corporate pressure cooker explodes when the case demands a trip to the Dominican Republic. With Jackie personally piloting her private plane, she and Daniel find themselves completely alone, miles above the world. Against a backdrop of swaying palm trees and tropical heat, the rigid office personas melt away. The underlying tension snaps, and they give in to a passionate, whirlwind affair.
Back home in New Jersey, reality hits hard. The new couple goes to extreme lengths to hide their romance, constantly dodging Daniel’s chaotic sister, Jodie and a workplace full of eagle-eyed colleagues. Just when they think they have it under control, the opposing counsel uncovers their secret, weaponizing their romance to dismantle Air Cruz. With a make-or-break board meeting looming and Daniel trapped in a logistical nightmare inside the Holland Tunnel, everything hangs in the balance.
As the clock ticks down, will Jackie risk sacrificing her empire for a chance at true love?
