Still fragile from a personal tragedy, Laura “Lo” Blacklock accepts what seems like a dream assignment aboard the lavish Aurora Borealis, a luxury superyacht owned by the illustrious Richard and Anne Bullmer. Anne, battling stage-four leukemia, is determined to launch a foundation in her name that is dedicated to advancing leukemia research.

When Lo discovers that Ben, her ex, is also on board as the official photographer, she keeps her composure. That night, on her way to dinner, she ducks into the nearest room, Cabin 10, to avoid him, only to stumble upon a mysterious blonde woman inside. The stranger looks startled, pulls up her hood and Lo quickly apologizes before slipping out.

Later that night, a scream shatters the calm. Then a splash. From her balcony, Lo swears she sees someone being shoved overboard from Cabin 10. Moments later, she spots a bloody handprint smeared across the glass divider.

When she alerts the crew, things spiral into a nightmare. Cabin 10 is empty. No guest was ever checked in. Yet the blood remains on the balcony railing. The captain dismisses her story, Richard grows coldly evasive and Lo begins to question her own sanity.

But she’s a journalist and she knows when something doesn’t add up. Bit by bit, she pieces the puzzle together. Anne Bullmer is dying and her husband is orchestrating the ultimate deception by replacing her with a lookalike, Carrie, ensuring that when Anne “dies,” her empire and fortune fall entirely under his control.

When Lo uncovers too much, she’s locked in her cabin and left to vanish quietly at sea. But Carrie is guilt-ridden and desperate for freedom, turns the tide. Together, they fight back to expose the truth before it’s buried beneath the waves.

Can a secret thrown into the sea stay drowned?

MY REVIEW

What I Like:  

• I would say beautiful performance by the cast - especially Kiera.    

What I Don't Like:

• Predictable - I think I solved the mystery not 30 minutes into the movie.  

Will I Watch It Again: I don't mind watching it again.
