Karen [Movie Review] | When I see the title Karen, I know immediately that the movie is going to be about the entitled-not-racist - self acclaimed b*tches - pardon my French.
I prepared myself to be disgusted by the Karen in the movie. But did I get disgusted?

- The third movie based on a meme (Smiley and Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever).
Malik, a community activist and Imany, his influencer wife, just moved into a all-white neighbourhood, dreaming that the peaceful place would be right for them to raise their upcoming small family.
Karen Drexler, their next-door neighbour happens to be a racist white woman, and a newly married black couple just wouldn't sit right with her. She immediately installed CCTVs all around her house, just in case that the new neighbour might be 'scaling the joint' as she put it to her friends.
She tells everyone in an association that she will have the couple move out of their house immediately, no matter what.
Her hatred towards the couple heightens when Malik refuses her advances. She invites herself to the housewarming party that Malik is throwing and picks fight with other guests by telling them to go back to where they come from - Africa (and the guests are all Black).
She causes Malik to get caught for having weed in his car - the weed was planted by Karen's brother who is a policeman.
Imany realises that her fight against Karen might be fruitless and is ready to give up.
Will Imany give up and let Karen win?
MY REVIEW
Plot: 4.0/ 5.0 I love the base that Karen in bringing forward. Racism happens in every country where there will be a group people who feel like they are entitled and way above others. A good social cause as the backbone of the movie.
Did it delivered the message? Yes. It got through.
Was it good? Watchable (you might cringe at some points) but I kept on thinking that some other actors could do the characters more justice.
Cast: 3.5/ 5.0 There were some who are much better than the others.
Will I Watch It Again: No. Once is enough.
The pictures are taken from multiple sources on the Internet. Thank you.
