Jurassic World Rebirth [Movie Review] | I am an avid follower of the series. I even watched the animated version and also documentaries on dinosaurs. They were amazing creatures.
Imagine having them walking the Earth nowadays. But, humans would be the very reason they die if they were to walk the Earth today.
So, how's the latest addition to the series?

- A standalone sequel to Jurassic World Dominion (2022), this is the fourth Jurassic World film and the seventh in the Jurassic Park franchise overall.
- Scarlett Johansson has been a die-hard fan of the franchise since childhood. For the past decade, she’s been trying to get in, joking that she’d even be happy dying in the first five minutes, just to be part of it.
- Jennifer Lawrence & Amanda Seyfried turned down the role of Zora Bennett.
- The first film in the Jurassic Park film series to not have any cast members return from prior installments.
- Less CGI, more real dinos — ILM and John Nolan brought back animatronics to make the dinosaurs feel more lifelike on screen.

In 2010, on a secret island in the Atlantic called Ile Saint-Hubert, InGen decided to play God. Inside a hidden lab, they whipped up some wild transgenic dinosaurs including a six-limbed, twisted T. rex hybrid named Distortus rex. Thanks to a rogue piece of a chocolate wrapper, the beast escaped, turning the entire island into a danger zone overnight.
Fast forward years after the Biosyn locust disaster, Earth is now struggling to support life, especially for the de-extinct. Dinosaurs now only thrive in scattered, remote zones, mostly along the equator where the climate still resembles their ancient habitats.
Martin, the representative for the pharma giant ParkerGenix looks up Zora Bennett (ex-military, tough-as-nails and now a merc-for-hire) for a covert mission. He wants Zora and her team to head to Ile Saint-Hubert and collect DNA samples from three of the biggest surviving dinosaurs. The samples are to be used to create a life-saving drug for humanity. The targets? A Mosasaurus of the sea, a Titanosaurus on land, and a sky-soaring Quetzalcoatlus.

Zora joins forces with paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis, mission leader Duncan Kincaid, stoic driver Leclerc, straight-talking mercenary Nina, and Bobby, the Essex ship’s security head. Their mission kicks off by tracking a Mosasaurus they’ve tagged and studied. But before they can fully celebrate, disaster strikes. They rescue the Delgado family from a capsized sailboat, only to land in a deadly feeding frenzy: Mosasaurus vs. Spinosaurus pack.
Zora managed to get the sample from Mosasaurus before their big ship was chased and stranded on the nearby island. In the chaos, some crew are lost, their ship is grounded, and the survivors — now split into two groups — must navigate the island’s dangers to reach the abandoned InGen lab for extraction.
Despite the odds, Zora’s team secures DNA from the Titanosaurus and, after a tense raid on a Quetzalcoatlus nest, grabs the final sample, losing another crew member in the process. Meanwhile, the Delgados befriend a pint-sized dino they name Dolores and survive a T. rex river chase using a makeshift raft.
Both groups are finally reunited, only to be ambushed by monstrous raptor-pterosaur hybrids called Mutadons.
And don't forget about the upgraded Distortus rex that is still loose on the island.
Will Zora and the others make it out alive or will the island take them down before the cure is ever found?
