Black Panther: Wakanda Forever [Movie Review] | This is one of the movies that I was so eager to watch for so many reasons. So, of course I was the one in the group of friends that keep on reminding everyone that movie has landed and we are to watch it together.

And watched it together, we did.

After the demise of King T'challa, his mother, Queen Romanda assumes the throne. Shuri still mourns the demise of her brother. She believes that she could have saved her brother with her vast scientific knowledge to recreate the 'heart-shaped herb' which she failed to recreate during the final moments of her brother. 

Her mother wants her to keep on recreating the herb so that they could revive a new Black Panther but Shuri refuses as to her, Black Panther is a history that need not to be revived. 

Wakanda is now under pressure by the whole world to share their virbranium, to which Queen Ramonda denies the request. As she mentioned 'It is not that the world is afraid of Wakanda with vibranium, but Wakanda is afraid what to become of the world with vibranium'. Some even tries to steal vibranium from Wakanda, but fails. 

The CIA manages to detect a potential vibranium deposit underwater with a machine that was developed by Riri, an MIT student. The whole exploration team was killed by blue-skinned underwater people, that nobody knows about. So naturally, the world assumed that Wakanda was the cause behind the death of the explorers. 

Namor approaches Ramonda and Shuri, bypassing the Wakandan security to warn them about a potential war between Talokan, Namor's kingdom and Wakanda should Wakanda refuses to assist Talokan in finding the scientiest that developeda the vibranium-detecting machine. 

Shuri and Okoye manages to retrieve Riri. FBI chases the trio, and while on the run, Talokan warriors intercept the trio, defeats Okoye and take Shuri and Riri to Talokan. Okoye is strips from her duty as Dora Milaje when Ramonda learns of her defeat and Shuri is now captured by Namor. 

Ramonda then meets Nakia, a Wakanda who is now living in Haiti, to ask for her assistance to find and rescue Shuri. 

Namor shows Talokan to Shuri - an underwater kingdom that is rich with vibranium. He offers alliance with Wakanda to attack the surface world that once rejected him. Nakia manages to rescue Shuri and Riri, to which Namor retaliates and declares was on Wakanda. 

During the Talokan attack on Wakanda, Queen Ramonda dies while trying to save Riri. Wakanda is given a week to agree to become an ally to Talokan or again, faces the wrath.

Now that the whole of Wakanda's fate is lying on her decision, what will Shuri do?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.9/ 5.0 I love how the movie shows a rebellious teenager Shuri and how angry she is about almost everything that does not go her way. 

The introduction and backstory of Namor and Talokan was also ok, except that I am still don't know how he has wings on his legs. 

Expect a lot of grief throughout the movie and bring tissues ok.

Cast: 4.9/ 5.0. Everyone delivers beautifully.
