- Hugh filmed all his scenes in 10 days.

Meet George Hardy is a shepherd who spends his afternoons reading cozy murder mysteries to his flock in the quiet English village of Denbrook. He even named all his sheeps.
To the sheep, death is just a silly plot device in George’s paperbacks. They honestly believe that when life ends, they simply evaporate and turn into clouds. Whenever reality gets too heavy, they just blink and force themselves to forget it. All sheep managed to do so except for one named Mopple.
Then, the unthinkable happens. George is found dead outside his trailer, poisoned.
While the town’s lone police officer, Tim, stumbles through the investigation, the flock decides they cannot leave their shepherd's justice to a human. Led by Lily, a crime-fiction loving ewe, Mopple and Sebastian, a cynical rescue from a traveling carnival, the sheep launch their own undercover operation.

The sheep learns about the motive at the local inn during the reading of George’s will. It turns out the simple shepherd was secretly harboring a massive fortune from a medical patent. Suddenly, the room is packed with suspects. There is a long-lost daughter fresh off a plane from America, a secret twin brother calling in from South Africa, a suspicious local butcher and a rival shepherd.
When a piece of evidence plants the blame squarely on the American daughter, she is promptly locked up. But as Lily and Mopple dig deeper, they stumble into a dark, terrifying secret about the village meat trade that shatters their peaceful illusion of the world. Even worse, Lily realizes her own mind has been playing tricks on her, wiping out dark memories to keep her happy.
With the wrong person behind bars and the real killer still walking free, the flock must pull off their most daring stunt yet. They have to pass a message to the police before the trail goes cold, utilizing a rejected winter-born lamb to paint a clue with his hooves.
Can a flock of sheep outsmart a killer or will the murderer pull the wool over everyone's eyes?
