The time-saving Thai Curry Pastes by Ayam Brand™ Makes My (Cooking) Life Easier | Have you ever find yourself in a bind when visitors come unannounced and you have basically very little food supply to entertain them? If your family members are around, they could assist you by getting the items needed to prepare the food for the visitors - onions, meat etc.

But, if nobody is at home, and you are alone?

Fret not as I have just found that Ayam Brand™ has come out with curry paste that literally a live and time-saver for us all.

Ayam Brand™ just recently introduced three authentic, time saving and tasty curry pastes that are:

  • The iconic Thai Green Curry Paste
  • The well-loved favorite Thai Red Curry Paste
  • The mild, kid-friendly Thai Yellow Curry Paste

Rawlins Lifestyle, Ayam Brand Pes Kari, Rawlins Eats, Rawlins GLAM, Ayam Brand Curry Paste,

Made in Thailand, each curry paste uses local ingredients according to well-accepted traditional recipes. There are no added preservatives, no artificial colours and it is Halal certified.

Each pack comes with three 50g shots of curry paste. One shot is sufficient for a generous Thai-style meal for two to three people. The individual packs are light, small and flexible, keeping the pastes fresh, while allowing you to determine how rich or mild your culinary creation will be.

As a singleton and now is fully working at the office, I find the paste introduction is very timely, having less  time to prepare meals for myself. I bet the ladies are also thankful that this creation has come to being - time saving for all!

The new curry pastes pair perfectly with Ayam Brand™ Coconut Milk that brings the great taste, appetising aroma, creaminess and health benefits of coconut milk, in convenient packs. To have  the perfect and terrific Thai curries, I opt for the Ayam Brand™ Classic Coconut Milk and Ayam Brand™ Coconut Milk Trim (the one that has 45% reduced in fat), depending on my mood.

And here are some of the recipes that I found interesting and easy for me to try this weekend, using the pastes.

Thai Green Curry Chicken

Thai green curry is a crowd pleaser when paired with chicken or with shrimp served with steaming hot rice, especially on rainy evenings. A Thai-riffic dish that is tasty, well-balanced and surprisingly easy to whip up. Serves 2 to 3 people.

  • Pour in a 200ml pack of Ayam Brand Classic Coconut Milk.
  • Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add in some chopped eggplant, and finely sliced carrots and stir in until the vegetables are done.
  • For a more fragrant and spicy dish garnish with kaffir lime leaves, sliced red chillies and lemongrass.
  • The dish is ready.

Thai Red Beef Curry

Red Curry Paste is more robust,  pairing well with meat such as beef, lamb and mutton.  Thai Red Beef Curry is a frequently ordered dish for many of us but it can be easy to make at home.

The hearty beef, crunchy cabbage and rich and creamy gravy is perfect with rice, and equally good with pasta too! Serves 2 to 3 people.
