Luckiest Girl Alive [Movie Review] | My sister has been talking about the movie so naturally I have to watch it too. 

Actually, I was instructed by Doctor to stay at home and Netflix recommended it, so I watched it.

• Lionsgate and Pacific Standard - Reese Witherspoon and producer Bruna Papandrea's company - bought the film rights to Jessica Knoll's debut novel before it was even published.

TifANi or Ani, has it all. Or so it may seems. She is perfect - she has good looks, a loving and wealthy fiance and a seemingly perfect life. The only box in her life's achievement yet to be ticked i to have the perfect job. 

On a train ride with her best friend, the train suddenly stops and Ani has a flashback when she was younger. Her single mother raises her and with her ability to write beautifully, she manages to get to a great school with scholarship. Soon enough, she befriends everyone as she is well-liked. 

During homecoming, instead of staying at the hall dancing with her friends, Ani and a few of her girlfriends sneak out to the popular guys' home to party. And there, Ani was gang-raped by the boys. 

She runs out of the house and meets with her teacher at the pump station, who later takes him to his home before returning her to her home. 

She didn't share the story with anyone. She didn't even report the rape as she didn't want to tarnish her perfect reputation.

She confided to a few of her friends. Her friends urge her to report the rape but she refuse to do so.

One day, her friends come to school and start shooting the the students. Apparently, they were the victims of school-bully and they were there to exact revenge. And the revenge include Ani's. 

These flashbacks keep on interfering with her love and her life. She loves her fiance but she don't really love him. Her mother smothers her with love but she wants more. 

One of the survivors from the school shooting survives and now a gun reform activist, claims that Ani was in on the shooting. The same survivor is also was one of three classmates who gang-raped Ani at a school dance after party just weeks before the shooting. 

In order for her to climb the social rank, she has to come clean with the story. 

Who will people believe - her story, who is willing to do anything to climb the social rank, or the survivor, who is now holier than thou?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.3/ 5.0 If it is not for keep on flashing to and fro, I would have given it a bigger mark. Yes, it helps to explain the story but somehow it shortens the heights of the story points at times.

Well, that's just me. 

Cast: 4.6/ 5.0 Marvellous I would say!

Will I Watch It Again:Yes, I don't mind watching it again.
