Street Fighter [Movie Review] | Who can forget Chun Li or Dhalsim from Street Fighter, right?
This movie brings back my childhood memories of fighting over who gets to play the video game with my brother and cousins.
Is this live action any good?

Set in 1987, the story begins with Ryu emerging victorious from the first World Warrior tournament after defeating Sagat. However, his victory comes at a cost. By tapping into the forbidden Dark Hadou, Ryu attracts the attention of Akuma, a fearsome fighter with a deadly agenda. When Akuma murders Gouken, Ryu's mentor, the tragedy drives a wedge between Ryu and his adoptive brother, Ken Masters. Ryu subsequently disappears from the fighting world, leaving his past behind.
Six years later, the fighting scene is about to heat up again.
M. Bison, the ruthless dictator of Shadaloo, announces a second World Warrior tournament in Metrolao City. But this is no ordinary competition. Behind the spectacle lies a much bigger plan and Interpol agent Chun Li is determined to bring Bison down for his past crimes.
Chun Li recruits fighters from around the world, including Ken, who is more than ready to step back into the ring. Ryu, however, wants nothing to do with the tournament. Unfortunately, when Akuma threatens to destroy the winner, staying away is no longer an option.

As the fighters prepare for battle, old rivalries resurface and new alliances begin to form. Ken and Ryu must confront their complicated relationship, while Bison has plans of his own for the mysterious power lurking within Ryu.
And then there is Blanka, whose involvement in Bison's sinister experiments adds another layer of chaos to an already explosive situation.
With legendary fighters such as Vega, Guile, Balrog and Dhalsim entering the fray, the tournament quickly becomes more than a test of strength. It is a battle where personal grudges, hidden agendas and extraordinary abilities collide.
For Ryu, the greatest challenge is keeping the darkness within himself under control.
Will he come out victorious or will he succumb to the darkness inside?
