Crawlers [Movie Review] | I’m not afraid of spiders, but that trailer seriously creeped me out.
Naturally, I had to watch it. But did the movie deliver the chills or was the trailer scarier than the film itself?

- At just 81 minutes, Crawlers delivers a short, fast paced creature horror experience without dragging things out.
- Crawlers draws comparisons to Infested (2023), as both feature deadly spiders overrunning apartment buildings, though each has its own take on the nightmare.

Serena is the overworked and under-appreciated manager of Paradiso Palms, an apartment complex with more than its fair share of problems. Between dealing with difficult residents and keeping the building running, she already has enough on her plate. The last thing she needs is a mysterious death that turns her ordinary working day into a living nightmare.
The horror begins when a resident returns from an overseas trip, unknowingly bringing home a new breed of arachnids. These are no ordinary spiders. They can breed beneath human skin, eventually crawling out of their hosts and killing them in the most gruesome way imaginable.
Initially mistaken for a viral outbreak, the infestation soon spirals out of control. The spiders multiply at an alarming rate, spreading through apartments, corridors and hidden spaces. Before long, the authorities impose a quarantine, trapping the residents inside with an ever growing army of eight legged killers.

As panic sets in, the residents desperately search for a way out. But with the creatures spreading by the second, nowhere feels safe, and every dark corner could be hiding another deadly surprise.
Their best hope is Serena. She knows the complex better than anyone and may be the only person capable of finding a way through its maze of corridors and hidden spaces.
Now, the woman responsible for keeping the building together must lead the residents through an increasingly deadly nightmare. With escape routes disappearing and the infestation spreading beyond control, every second brings them closer to disaster.
Can Serena outsmart the infestation and save everyone before it is too late?
