An-wei is lost, exhausted, and desperate, deep within Taiwan’s mist-cloaked mountains—where whispers of the old world still linger and where hikers vanish without a trace. His steps are heavy, his breath ragged, and just as despair starts to claw at his soul, he sees it: a mysterious figure in a yellow raincoat emerging through the fog. The figure gestures, silently promising a way out. Trusting the unknown, An-wei makes the fateful decision to follow. And as the legend goes—those who follow never return. An-wei is gone. Forever.

Fast forward. The mountains welcome another pair of hikers, seemingly innocent and full of hope: Chia Ming and Yu Hsin. This trip is meant to be romantic—Chia Ming has an engagement ring tucked away, ready for the perfect moment to propose. But the mountain has its own plans. One wrong turn, one ignored warning, and their dream getaway becomes a nightmare beyond comprehension.

Yu Hsin dies. Brutally. In Chia Ming’s arms.

Before grief can even crush him, he wakes up—back in the lodge, like nothing happened. It was a dream… wasn’t it? Until it happens again. And again. No matter what he does, Yu Hsin still dies.

Chia Ming is trapped in a time loop from hell, forced to watch the love of his life die over and over again, powerless to change her fate. With every reset, the truth becomes harder to ignore: something—or someone—is playing with them. The answers lie buried in a hiking trip years ago, in the same mountains, with the same group of friends… and with An-wei, the one who disappeared.

Why is this happening? What ties them to the disappearance of An-wei years ago? And who – or what – is hiding behind that yellow raincoat?

If the mountains call, will you answer?
