Showcase SDSI Sarawak Boosts the Promotion of Sarawak's Entrepreneurs | Showcase Satu Daerah Satu Industri (SDSI) Wilayah Sarawak 2023, which was launched by the Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan dan Koperasi (KUSKOP), is an initiative to advance the economy of the state of Sarawak.  The showcase also provides a forum for the exchange of goods and services among various regions. 

As the nation's economy enters a phase of expansion, KUSKOP has committed to expanding this programme as a crucial step in boosting production levels and SDSI compliance.

The program provided on that day includes a sales exhibition, entrepreneur fees, and a Halal Certification Workshop. In addition, SDSI Sarawak offers various incentives to entrepreneurs as well as product demonstrations by local entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs attending the event can receive advisory services and financial assistance for Halal certification from experienced industry players. Visitors also have the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw and watch Sarawakian cultural performances.

The organization of the SDSI 2023 Sarawak Showcase has also received strategic cooperation from the State Government through the Ministry of International Trade, Industry, and Investment Sarawak (MINTRED). This is expected to boost the image of SDSI products and services while showcasing that SDSI's output is potential and of high quality.

Some of the SDSI products involved include Kek Lapis Sarawak (Sarawak layer cakes), products based on "gula apong" (a type of sugar), honey-based beauty products, and handicrafts, among others.

The SDSI 2023 Sarawak Showcase is the second location after the first event in the Central Zone at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur, from 7 - 9 July. The SDSI 2023 National Showcase will be held from 6 -8 October 2023 at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), Ayer Keroh, Melaka. Subsequently, events will be held in the Sabah Region and Northern Zone in Perak, scheduled for November and December 2023, respectively.

The public is invited to join and celebrate SDSI Sarawak at Plaza Merdeka, Kuching, Sarawak, from September 29th to October 1st, starting from 10 am to 10 pm.
