Avatar: The Way of Water [Movie Review] | Excited to watch the movie would be an understatement. My friends and I even considered of getting the most expensive seats there is (the ones with bed, drinks etc) as the length of the movie.
We want to be comfortable while watching a 3-hour movie, right? But my friends also brought up the fact that I might fall asleep during the movie hahaha

Jake is now the chief of the Omaticaya and has a family with Neytiri. Together they raises two sons (Neteyem & Lo'ak) and a daughter (Tuk). They also adopted Kiri, a daughter of Grace and a human boy named Spider who was born on Pandora and was not able to be transported to Earth is cyrostasis.
They were living happily until the humans return to explore Pandora to make it a new Earth. The arrival kills most of Pandora and the Omaticaya runs to the floating mountains. Now the Omaticaya intercepts the invaders' supply line and take all the items - food, weapons etc.
Among the invaders are 'recombinants' - the Na'vi avatars with the memories of the deceased RDA marines, with Quaritch as their leader.
The recombinants capture Jake's children while on their rounds on the ground. Jake and Neytiri manages to free the kids, except for Spider and Quaritch instantly recognises Spider as his son. He decides to use Spider's knowledge about the Omaticaya to bring he and his recombinants closer.
Jake quickly bring his family away from the Omaticaya, fearing that Spider's knowledge will bring harm to the tribe. Jake's family seeks retreat at the Metkayina's tribe, the reef people, who reluctantly give them shelter as they see the family have demon blood for their genetic human heritage. The family learns the way of the reef people, Kiri develops a spiritual bond with the sea and its creatures, and Lo'ak takes a liking to Tsireya, the daughter of the tribe chief.
Jake teaches his children to be kind to the reef people but the reef children do not make it easier for the children to blend in.
Lo'ak seeks solace and he finds friendship with Payakan, an outcast tulkun.
Quatrich starts looking for Jake and his family, brutally questioning the indigenous tribes. He also orders a whaling vessel to start killing the tulkuns in order to bring out Jake and his family.
Can Jake win against the attack of Quaritch and safe his family and the Metkayina's clan safety too?
MY REVIEW
Plot: 4.8/ 5.0 Oh wow! I was awed by the the beautiful CGI of the world - underwater and everything! The plot was intense - I was literally holding my breathe throughout the movie.
And be ready to cry at some scenes - this is a family movie after all.
Cast: 4.8/ 5.0 Grand! Marvellous! Encore!
Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I don't mind watching it all over again.
The pictures are taken from multiple sources on the Internet. Thank you.
