Sunzen Biotech and Xmegami Collaborate to Produce Health and Beauty Products | Sunzen Biotech Bhd and Xmegami, a micro-business platform, will collaborate to produce Xmegami-branded health and beauty products in Malaysia and internationally. The items will be produced at the group's healthcare facility in Kota Kemuning, Selangor.

Sunzen subsidiary Ecolite Biotech Manufacturing Sdn Bhd and Xmegami recently formed a joint venture company to begin production this year. The signing ceremony took place at EQ Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (June 11, 2022). 

Teo Yek Ming, managing director and CEO of Sunzen, said that this collaboration transforms Ecolite from a traditional to a modern healthcare company, marking a milestone moment for the Sunzen Group in the healthcare industry.

To popularise nutrition and make it easier for the public to obtain nutrition and maintain their health, Ecolite uses modern facilities to combine ingredients into formulas derived from traditional recipes.

Original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and original design manufacturing (ODM) are also available, both in accordance with GMP, HACCP, MeSTI, VHM, and JAKIM Halal certification standards.

Teo observed that an increasing number of people are becoming health-conscious and interested in health care and beauty products to improve their quality of life.

According to him, the collaboration between Ecolite and Xmegami will complete Sunzen's ecology in the human health care industry while also significantly contributing to the group's overall business.

Aside from financing, Sunzen is currently involved in the manufacturing and trading of animal health products as well as human health products.

Sunzen's revenue from its animal feed segment increased nearly 10 per cent year on year to RM7.37 million in the first half of its fiscal year ending December 31, 2021.

The group's human health product division also contributed significantly and is set to expand further as a result of the collaboration with Xmegami.

The group's Ecolite brand is one of Malaysia's largest manufacturers of Chinese medicinal health and bird's nest products.

Meanwhile, Xmegami's founder and director, Cheong Sheue Xin, expressed her hope that this joint venture will bring more health care and beauty products to the market.

"Through various online and offline marketing channels, the team will bring these products to local and international customers," she said.

Xmegami intends to expand into Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, in addition to Malaysia.

Xmegami, a low-capital internet start-up platform, was founded in 2017. Through its multi-level marketing platform, it sells stemcell revive toning lotions, hydro cleaning gel, hydro booster, and healthy snacks.

The five-year-old company has helped thousands of full-time employees and stay-at-home moms earn money on this platform, increasing their value, earning extra money, and improving their quality of life.
