Kong: Skull Island [Moview Review]

Kong is on Malaysian shores!
With all that gore details and fight details, luckily it was not banned!

The movie started with two fighter pilots parachuted onto an island. It was in 1944, during the WWII. While fighting each other off, a huge monster appeared that made them stopped and ran for their lives.
You never see a cow in the mud before, dude?
29 years later, a Monarch agent, Bill Randa gathered a few people including a tracker, Capt. James Conrad to accompany him on a mission to discover an island that is not on the map, called the Skull Island. The island was protected by pockets of air turbulence that made it impossible to penetrate. With the skills of the experienced pilots of a helicopter squadron led by Lieutenant Colonel Preston Packard, the group managed to pass through the angry clouds and into the island.
Kong is playing dolls now
Before descended, Bill Randa ordered them to drop some seismic bomb to determine the hollowness of the ground. It was not long before a huge gorilla-like monster started attacking the helicopters and many were destroyed and the crews dead.

Packard was mad with the real intentions of Randa, which is to prove to the world of his theory that there are monsters living on earth. After burying his man, Packard ordered everyone to make their way to a helicopter that contained all the explosives.
Meanwhile, Conrad's group were separated from Packard's group and encountered a local tribe that worshipped Kong. There, they met with Hank Marlow, the pilot that crash-landed on the island in 1944. Marlow told them that Kong is worshipped as a god by the natives for protecting them from Skullcrawlers, a reptilian-like underground monster who have slaughtered Kong's ancestors, leaving him as the last of his kind. Conrad learnt that Kong attacked the helicopters as to prevent the bombs from awakening the largest of the Skullcrawlers, nicknamed as 'The Big One'.

Along the way to their assembly point, both groups encountered differents kinds of huge monsters that were both gentle and dangerous.
The very first encounter with Skullcrawlers was when Conrad's group went into the Forbidden Zone. Randa was killed by the same Skullcrawler that ate Chapman, making Packard mad and very vengeful, blaming Kong for the death of his men. Packard's revenge was not welcomed by Conrad who tried to save Kong when Packard set Kong on fire. Here, they encountered 'The Big One' who seemed to try to take advantage of the fallen Kong.
Dude, you need to see the dentist PRONTO!
Who will save them from 'The Big One'?
Will Packard get his revenge?

Plot: 4.7/ 5.0. I love it. A simple movie with lots of action and monsters! So, I might be a bit biased there.

The Cast: 4.6/ 5.0. With Tom Hiddleston and Sam L. Jackson in here, it seems like a reunion of Avengers, which I love. Brie Larson was great too!

Will I Watch It Again: I want to watch it in 3D next!
