Sham lives with his ailing mother and younger sister, Ekin in a run-down rent house after his mother sold their house to Pak Ya. He works odd jobs to make ends meet - to bring food to his family and for his mum's medication.

Haziq is a furniture dealer who works with a very demanding Dato' Jamil. Dato' Jamil is his supposedly supplier who manages to get great deal items from the border of Malaysia-Thailand and Haziq gets to sell off the item with a huge profit margin.

On one fateful day, Sham was just dropping off ikan sepat for Coki when Haziq stops by Coki's mum, Kak Jah's restaurant for lunch. Haziq confided to Kak Jah that he needs an employee and he needs it fast. Kak Jah recommends Sham for the job.

After much consideration, Sham agrees to work for Haziq. His first task was to drive to a location, pick up the items and drive straight to the store. Ima, Haziq's assistant is to accompany Sham on his first job.

Haziq's only rules are 'DON'T BE NOSY, DON'T ASK ABOUT THE DELIVERY ITEMS AND DON'T BE LATE'.

When Sham agrees to the rules, Haziq gives him his first payment. And it was RM2,000 - Haziq was surprised to learn that he will earn that much for every delivery. But as he trusts Haziq, he didn't give much thought about the delivery.

When he returns to the shop safely with the items, Ima gives him a company car. Ima tells him that he passes the first test and is now the official driver for the company.

His mum questions his job at first but when he reassures her that the job is legit, she just keeps silent. Sham keeps his job and starts saving his salary to buy a wheelchair for his mum and her treatment and ultimately, he manages to save enough to buy back their family home from Pak Ya.

Despite all the rules, I still ask 'What is he delivering?'

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.8/ 5.0 A great movie about innocent people and businesses being used as drug mules. And timely too as the pandemic makes people do indescribable things to make ends meet.

There's no twist in the movie - it is very much straight forward. The script-writing is very heart-warming and I cried at some points because some of the scenes hit too close to home.

Cast: 4.8/ 5.0 With the great line-ups and a good script-writing, the delivery is on-point. Wan Maimumah's performance as Mak is very believable and her scripts made me cry. 'Jadilah umpama Quran buruk, tetap mulia tempatnya. Jangan menjadi kain buruk, dibuang tak dipandang'. Or something along that line. I'm a bit crybaby when it comes to ailing mother as I am missing my own mother - I haven't seen my mother for over a year now.

Azman as a very naive Sham is very natural. I believed that he doesn't really acting when it comes to assisting Mak as he was away for quite sometime from the entertainment arena to assist his real mother - so you can tell that his feeling during some scenes are real. Some actors you could tell if they are faking it but he looks natural in the paddy field, wading through the mud.

Nabila Huda? Her lines were not much but her delivery is powerful as ever. Jaja Iliyes and Coki's performance were also great - they were a natural. PU Azman as a bad person? Bravo PU.

Will I watch it again: I would as a great piece deserves a re-run.

The pictures are taken from multiple sources on the Internet. Thank you.
