Hello peeps. So here is another review of a horror story. Sorry, I am a horror-freak like that.

SYNOPSIS 'I know one thing for sure - when you're dead, you're dead. Nothing.' The sentence uttered by Megan when she got the job at the morgue.
Megan, a reformed alcoholic and addict accepts the job at the morgue as a part of her effort to keep herself from turning back to the bottles and the pills. And she gets the graveyard shift. Oh. So predictable.

After this, you should try out to become an astronaut

But before that, the movie starts with a scene from an ongoing exorcism of Hannah Grace. Two man of faith tries to exorcise the demon out of her. The first one fails miserable (and ends up dead after being lifted in the air and thrown to the walls by unseen hands). The second one was in the middle of choking himself to death when Hannah's father decides that to end the misery is to kill his only child by suffocating her with the pillow while she is tied up to the bed.

Back to Megan. Her first night went well except for a stupid prank from Dave, one of the guards that are on the same shift as she is.
On her second night, a 'homeless' man tries to enter the morgue via the body drop-off entrance but Megan denies him. Not soon after, a new body comes in. She was asked to assist in transferring the body from the ambulance into the morgue. Despite the warning about her not leaving the room, she helps with the transfer of the body. Inspecting the body, she is mortified that the body has burnt marks and extreme cuts everywhere. All the electronics burnt while she tries to take the pictures of the body and the thumbprints.

If only my wardrobe is this big.

Not soon after, bizarre and violent things start happening at the hand of the entity within the corpse. And slowly, she notices that people around her start to disappear and the wounds on the body start to disappear too.

Then she realizes, the dead will not stay dead.
Will Megan be able to 'kill' Hannah?
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.5/5.0. I think the plot is nicely written and the director has done a good job directing the horror piece. Hannah running and climbing around the morgue is pretty believable and actually gives me the creeps. Jump scare scenes? Quite a few but the first one actually made the whole audience in the hall screaming.
Cast: 4.5/5.0. No complaint here too. Everyone did their part justice.
Will I watch it again: I will, at the comfort of my room, with the curtains all drawn shut!

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald [Movie Review]

I get all excited when I learned about the movie.

So, as another reason to meet up with friends, we decided to watch the second instalment in the Fantastis Beasts film series and the tenth overall in the Wizarding World franchise. Reading all the contradicting comments online made me even more excited to watch the movie.
SYNOPSIS So, Gellert Grindelwald is being held prisoner and his tongue was cut off to prevent him from 'sweet-talking' the guards and put them under his spells. When departing New York for transfer back to London, he is freed by a follower and Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA) employee, Abernathy.
Ehmmm. Why can't they just teleport him, I wonder?
Despite being banned from travelling overseas, Dumbledore sends Newt to Paris to track down and stop the newly escaped Grindelwald from gathering his faithful pure-blood wizards in his attempt to rule both the Wizarding world and the human world. While locating Grindelwald, Newt comes across the case of the missing Obscurial Credence Barebone, the last of a long pure-blood line of wizards. Grindelwald is also on the look for Credence as he believes that only Credence could kill his living equal, Dumbledore.

Newt also has to settle the misunderstanding between him, Tina (his real love) and Leta (his brother's fiance) during his travel in Paris. While in Paris, Tina meets Yusuf Kama, who is also on the lookout for Credence.

Who is Credence and why is he so important, to everyone? What will happen to the world, with Grindelwald's group grows larger?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.0/ 5.0. I love the plot of this instalment. But as the title mentions 'The Crimes of Grindelwald', I remain clueless as to what are the crimes of Grindelwald, up until the end of the movie. And the twists are just too many, at times I got entangled while trying to untangle the twists. So, please focus on the movie so that you will not miss a single clue throughout the movie. By reading the piece from The Insider, there is a list of questions that are left unanswered in this instalment. Hopefully, we will get the answers in the coming ones.
Cast: 4.6/ 5.0. No complaint on this department. Everybody was superb.
Will I watch it again: I don't mind watching it again with the right company.

My friends and I will always find an excuse to meet up and spend our time together, may it be over coffee, movie or just a plain spicy gossip.

So, last Diwali holiday, we decided that we NEED to watch a movie together and just simply decided to give Hunter Killer a go. I have read splitting reviews about the movie, so I just want to watch it for myself. SYNOPSIS A US submarime, the USS Tampa Bay, vanishes while shadowing a Russian submarine in the Arctic. In order to find out what's going on and to avoid a possibility of igniting a third world war, Commander Joe Glass was send to investigate the incident.

And what exactly what are watching here gentlemen? I only see dots and lines

Sensing something amiss, Admiral Charles Donnegan agrees with Jayne and Rear Admiral John Fisk's idea to send a Navy Seal team, under the command of Lieutenant Beamen, to discreetly observe a Russian naval base. When they arrive at the base, they witness the Russian Defence Minister, Admiral Durov conducting a coup d'etat by taking the Russian President Zakarin prisoner.

Meanwhile, under the sea, Commander Glass, onboard of Arkansas, comes across the lost US submarine, on the sea floor, with no survivor. Then the crew hears the distress signal and searches the area for the source. Upon contact with another sunken ship, the Russian submarine, Commander Glass realises that the ship was sabotaged and the explosion comes from inside the submarine.
As they are about to rescue the survivors of the sunken Russian submarine, the crew realises that they are being targetted by another submarine that has been hiding under an iceberg. Skillfully, Glass manages to avoid the impact of the attack and instead, destroys the ambusher, apparently a Russian submarine. Putting the incidents together, Glass realises that the attack on both sunken submarines is staged to start a war.

When will this one stop talking? I need to go home and watch Ellen with my wife

Sir, can you please sit down? I wanna watch the movie too.

Despite disagreement from his crew, especially from his Executive Officer, Glass saves the survivors from the wreck, including the submarine captain, Capt. Andropov.
Back at the base, via the surveillance feeds from Lieutenant Beaman's team, the US government learns that Admiral Durov is trying to ignite a war between the two countries. Admiral Donnegan insists on preparing for war but Rear Admiral Fisk suggests that the Arkansas assist the rescue mission of President Zakarin by the Beaman's team and avoid the war at all cost.
Which route will the US government take, rescue the enemy to avoid a war or face the war?
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.0/ 5.0 One will know from the get-go that the US will be the hero. But I love the curves thrown unexpectedly throughout the movie, it keeps my eyes peeled on the screen. It might not be the best movie that Gerard has ever starred in but there are scenes that you feel like holding your breathe and pray for the safety of the cast.
Cast: 4.6/ 5.0 I would say that the cast is amazing - no complaint whatsoever about their performance.
Will I watch it again: I will, at home.

Dry hair with a towel
Apply soft mask on to hair, from mid-length to end
Use finger to detangle and fully coat hair from root to end
Leave for 2 - 4 min before rinse

MY VERDICT

I sweat very easily. I sweat when I walk, when I eat spicy food and especially when I exercise. For a working guy who tries to make it to the gym for at least an hour for 4 days in a week and 'man-bun' his hair every time he exercises, you can imagine the state of my hair when the day ends. It will be in a huge sweaty mess.
So, after using the series for almost a week, here are my verdict:

It helps to fluff and give body to my hair. I am a happy guy as my hair is no longer the boring-flat hair.
The hair fall/ loss is lessened.
I love the citrusy smell it has on my hair.
Itchy scalp? Almost non-existense
