Konsert Malam Wakaf Rakyat 2025 (MAWAR 2025) is more than just another night of music. The night promises a celestial fusion of heartfelt storytelling, divine remembrance, and emotional performances, aimed at sparking reflection on life, legacy, and the everlasting flow of good deeds through wakaf (Islamic endowment).

With the theme 'Biarpun Nafasmu Terhenti, Pahalamu Terus Mengalir' (Though Your Breath May Cease, Your Rewards Flow On), Konsert MAWAR 2025 is a call to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the meaning of life, death, and the legacy we leave behind.

An Iconic Line-Up for a Night to Remember

Imagine being serenaded by the legendary rock poet Datuk Ramli Sarip, soothed by the spiritual harmonies of Raihan, and moved by the lyrical depth of Lah Ahmad. Add to that the soul-lifting vocals of UNIC, the ever-inspiring Caliph Buskers, and theatrical renditions from Vanidah Imran that are bound to tug at your heartstrings.

Not only that. Joining them are well-loved figures in the Islamic and entertainment scenes such as Assoc. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Izhar Ariff, Abby Fana, Dr PU Razi, Azhar Hilmi, and many others whose presence alone brings light to the stage.

Expect an evening filled with tazkirah (spiritual talks) that awaken the heart, soulful selawat and zikir, emotional theatrical performances and beautifull musical renditions that echo long after the applause ends

In a ground-breaking move, Konsert MAWAR 2025 will be the first concert of its kind in Malaysia to incorporate live sign language interpretation throughout the entire show. A Cause Bigger Than Entertainment

Organised by Yayasan Canselor UKM in collaboration with Pusat Kebudayaan UKM and Kengkawan Project, Konsert MAWAR 2025 is more than a night of performances. It’s a platform for wakaf awareness. The concert is also a testament of how art and spirituality can be powerful agents of change.

Proceeds from this concert will contribute to UKM’s wakaf fund, supporting initiatives in education, research, community development, and student welfare.
