Sara is a former special forces operative, a battle-hardened veteran haunted by her past in Afghanistan. Seeking peace and a fresh start, she relocates to America with her six-year-old son, Josh. But things take a terrifying turn at the US Consulate in Frankfurt when Josh vanishes without a trace, after she leaves him in a playground area to have a cup of coffee while waiting for their turn at the counter. Sara's maternal instincts go into overdrive. Instead of help, she’s met with suspicion. Eric, the regional security officer, seems concerned at first, but when there’s no record of Josh entering the building, he begins to doubt Sara’s story altogether.
Driven by love and desperation, she refuses to leave without answers and without her son. But the deeper she digs, the more tangled the truth becomes. Her PTSD and flashbacks only complicate how others see her, making her look more unstable than credible. Then comes the cruelest blow: CCTV footage showing Sara entering the consulate alone.

Refusing to be watched, Sara uses her special forces training to sneak through the building, eventually forming an unlikely alliance with a mysterious guest, Kira, who has been 'housed' inside the building for months. Kira agrees to help find Josh if Sara helps her escape too. Together, they uncover emails hinting at secrets buried long ago.
How will Sara unravel the lie and face a past that refuses to stay buried while saving her son?

MY REVIEW
What I Like:
- The movie has it all - action, drama, thriller and family.
- A good surprise as I was not expecting to be liking the movie.
What I Don't Like:
- Sara can kick a%s yes, but not so much being a daughter and a mom.
Will I Watch It Again: I don't mind watching it again.
Overall: 4.2/ 5.0
