Bruce Wayne spends twenty years traveling the world after his parents’ murder, trying to understand the criminal mind. His journey leads him to investigate Oswald Cobblepot’s lost expedition, where he and his protégés. Kai Li Cain, Dick Grayson, and Sanjay Tawde, encounter Grendon, a seemingly undead crewman attempting to free a frozen, otherworldly creature. Unaware Grendon is infected by a parasitic entity, they take him back to Gotham, with Jay staying behind to watch him.

Back home, they discover the corpse of Professor Kirk Langstrom in Wayne Manor’s library and Bruce has a disturbing vision of a demon speaking through him. Soon after, Jason Blood, the host of the demon Etrigan, warns Bruce that Gotham’s doom is imminent, tied to an ancient ritual requiring his death.

Bruce, Kai Li and Dick visit Oliver Queen, a famed hunter, and meet Harvey Dent, who mentions Langstrom’s obsession with bats. Bruce, now donning his bat-inspired suit, investigates Langstrom’s research and finds ties to the Cult of Ghul, who worship a demonic entity, Iog-Sotha. The Testament of Ghul is the key to an ominous ritual, but cultist Talia al Ghul steals it to resurrect her father, Ra’s al Ghul.

Chaos erupts when Grendon gains ice powers and kills Jay, while Dick is slain by Killer Croc. As Bruce searches for Talia, he uncovers the city’s dark history: Gotham’s founders, including his ancestor Thomas Wayne, once used the Testament’s magic to gain wealth and longevity, unknowingly summoning Iog-Sotha.

Grendon meets Talia and the parasite within him emerges as Poison Ivy, killing him in the process. Ivy infects Dent, transforming half his body into a portal. In a brutal fight, Ivy and Oliver kill each other, with Oliver passing his holy weapons to Bruce and Kai Li.

Can Bruce or Batman saves Gotham?

What I Like:  

• The backstory of the Wayne's wealth - explains all.  

What I Don't Like:

• The plot is not as smooth as the previous movies. 

Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I will.
