Another Simple Favor [Movie Review] | I remember that I love 'A Simple Favor' - a movie that I didn't expect I'd love.
So, when the sequel drops, I immediately watched it (thanks to my friend, Jae for reminding me about it).
Will I love this one too?

The movie starts with Stephanie vlogging live from her hotel room in Capri and stating that she is currently under 'house arrest'. And she recalls why she is currently in the state that she is in.
Stephanie is now riding high as a bestselling true crime author and vlogger. Her book that chronicles her friendship with the enigmatic Emily Nelson and the chaos that followed is a hit. But during a book signing, Emily herself comes in crashing the party, freshly released on appeal and newly engaged to Dante Versano, a dashing Italian aristocrat with mafia ties. She ropes Stephanie into being her maid of honor, dangling promises of fame and of course, threats of lawsuits.
Off they go to sun-drenched Capri, joined by Stephanie’s agent Vicky. There they reunite with Sean, Nicky, and an ensemble of suspiciously shady relatives, including Dante’s ice-cold mother Portia, and Emily’s mysterious aunt Linda, who brings along Emily's deranged mother.
Tensions boil over when Sean ends up dead in his hotel room. The death was an classified as an "accident" by the police but of course Stephanie is not buying it.

Stephanie is approached by an undercover FBI agent and soon uncovers a tangled web of deception involving mafia feuds, family secrets, and Emily’s long-lost triplet sister, Charity.
As bodies pile up, Charity impersonates Emily, framing Stephanie to kill Dante, threatening Nicky, and livestreaming cryptic warnings.
Stephanie barely escapes death thanks to Emily, who reveals the tragic backstory: a love triangle, a fake marriage, and a deranged sister obsessed with taking her place. And now the mafia wants her dead too.
How will Stephanie entangles the darkest of web and will she ever be free from Emily?

MY REVIEW
What I Like:
- Instead of being mysterious and James Bond about it, I love all the characters in their own element - natural and funny.
- The dresses are gorgeous and the views breathtaking.
- Henry Golding appears naked in one of the scenes - be careful if you're watching with the lil ones.
What I Don't Like:
- Not so different from the first one. I love the first one better.
Will I Watch It Again: I don't mind watching it again, as light watching.
Overall: 4.4/ 5.0
