Expend4bles [Movie Review] | I have always been in love the Expendables. The first two was great. The third one was bearable and entertaining. 

How would the fourth one do? Great? Flop?

• Sylvester confirmed this is the first of a new trilogy. He also confirmed that this is the last that Barney Ross will appear.
• Jack Nicholson was the first choice as a villain.Pierce Brosnan has agreed to appear in a fourth film.

Rahmat, an international mercenary steals nuclear warheads and intends to sell it to  the elusive and mysterious criminal, Ocelot. Barney failed to apprehend him 25 years prior and caused Barney six of his team members. 

While trying to stop Rahmat, all of their vehicled are destroyed by Rahmat's team in the fight. And they even lose their aircraft, including Barney who was flying it.

During Barney's memorial, Marsh comes in and tells the team that they are going after Rahmat and Lee is out of the team as he ignored Barney's instruction that caused them the warheads. Lee is replaced by Gina, his former lover. 

He follows the team to Asia as he manages to slip a tracking device when he gives Gina a gift to bring along. He gets the help of Decha, a former Expendable to track the team.

The team manages to land on Rahmat's ship, en route to Russia as Rahmat wants to let the warheads explode there and start World War III. They were ambushed and taken hostage upon landed on the ship. Marsh is taken away to negotiate a prisoner exchange for the witnesses. 

Can the Expendables stop Rahmat before he gives the warheads to Ocelot?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.0/ 5.0 Well, no new recipe here except for the additional Asian flavours into it. As Stallone wants the movie to focus on Statham, so the movie revolves around Lee. 

It was not bad, but neither was it very good. Entertaining yes. But the CGI was hilarious. 

Cast: 4.0/ 5.0 Everybody did good. Megan Fox just struts throughout the movie. Action wise was great choreography. 

Will I Watch It Again: I might be skipping this one if I were to binge-watch the whole series. But since it is the beginning of a new trilogy, let's hope that the next one will do better (and gets a better CGI company too).
