Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny [Movie Review] | Growing up watching Indiana Jones movies have always make me a dreamer of the adventures ahead. 

The movies are always full of excitement, adrenaline rush and education about history along the line. A good way to learn history, I would say. So, how will the latest addition compares to the rest?

• Harrison rides and walks for 40 miles daily to get in shape for the role. He is 80 when the movie is released (only weeks away from his 81st birthday).
• Harrison confirms that this is the last time he's playing the character.

In 1944, Indy and Basil, his Oxford professor friend, were captured by the Nazis while attempting to retrieve the Lance of Longinus, the spear that is believed to draw the first blood from Christ, and believed to have a special power.

Another archeologist of sort, who sides with the Nazis, Voller has just found the Archimedes' Dial. 

While rescuing Basil on train full of looted antiquities, Indy finds out that the spear is a fake and runs away with the dial instead.

Years later, Jones is alone, after he separated with his wife following the death of their son during the Vietnam War. Helena, the daughter of Basil, finds him and tells him that she is now an archeology student and a treasure hunter. She asks about the dial, to which Indy says that the dial is now broken into two and it drives her father to crazy trying to unlock the secrets. 

They gets the first piece, but was attacked by Voller and his henchmen, who is now working for NASA and uses different name.

Helena escapes with the dial and leaves Indy to be captured by the henchmen. Indy learns that Helena is actually wants to sell the dial to the highest bidder and has no intention to unlock the secret. Indy manages to escape and visits Helena at Tangier, where the auction for the dial is happening. Voller manages to get the dial, makes Indy, Helena and her sidekick Teddy on the run. 

The trio follow Voller to Greece and gets aid from Renaldo to retrieve the key to the second piece of the dial. They manages to get the key but Renaldo gets killed by Voller in the process. 

The trio manages to escape Voller and make their way to Sicily, where they finds the second piece of the dial.

Once again, Voller manages to capture them and reassembles the dial and reveals his plan to win the war and rule the world.

How will the dial aids in Voller's plan? Is there any way out for Indy and his sidekicks?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.3/ 5.0 Just like any other movies with sequels, no new formula or plot here. Just the same old Indy movies. Lost artifact found, bad guys come and steal it, Indy gets it back. 

The movie starts a bit slow, and gets betters after 30 minutes or more. 

The plot twist came a bit later, when he has to make a decision to stay or return to his home. 

Cast: 4.3/ 5.0 Indy is old in the movie but still delivers. Helena kinda annoys me. Teddy is great. 

Will I Watch It Again: I probably would.
