Simon is eating at a diner. And Wyburd is watching him, while reporting back to someone over the phone. The waitress at the diner notices that Simon is disfigured.
Wyburd invites Simon to ride with him, where he passes out. When he comes to, he is strapped to a table. When Wyburd rips Simon's shirt off, he notices that his body is full of wounds and cuts. Simon tells Wyburd to grant him a quick death while telling him about how he becomes the book of blood.
A girl was raped and beaten by an unforeseen entity in her room while her parents were beating down the door, trying to get inside and save the girl. The entity ripped her face off and she died.
Several months later, Prof Mary, an expert and an author of books about paranormal activity, along with her partner, Reg, investigates the house where the murder happened.
Mary encounters Simon in her class and discovers that Simon is a clairvoyant young man. With Simon in their team, the trio tries to get behind the story of the young girl's murder.
Terrifying events happen to Simon in the girl's room, where he is sleeping, which make Mary confident that they are unto something huge.
Somehow, Mary and Reg manages to uncover Simon's scam - he faked everything about him and the disturbances. He did all that as he wants to get close to Mary.
Simon tries to convince the angry Mary that his feelings toward her is real, and fails. Trying to prove his worth, he runs into the room again and tries to conjure the spirits.
Can Simon really call the spirits to share their stories? And what will the act cost him?
Will he get a quick death?
MY REVIEW
Plot: 4.6/ 5.0 As a horror movie lover, I find the plot is pretty straight forward. You make the deal with the devil, now you have to hold up the end of your bargain, no matter what it costs.
Cast: 4.3/ 5.0 Everyone delivered.
Will I Watch It Again: I would.
