After the explosive Katana Man showdown, Power is benched to recover her sanity. Denji now finds himself partnered with Beam, a shark fiend whose loyalty runs deep and somehow, Beam is so fixated with Denji. Just when things seem to slow down, Makima, invites him out on what might just be a date. A day full of watching movies together. At the end of the date, Makima assures him, “You have a heart”. And for Denji, that means everything.
Empowered and feeling glee, he heads out on patrol. During the patrol, a storm falls and he gets cover in a phone booth. Somehow, Reze, a charming café girl with a mysterious smile also finds shelter in the booth. Despite his heart wants Makima for life, his body and mind seems to fall for Reze.
Meanwhile, Aki is saddled with the Angel Devil who views humans as little more than passing fates. Their reluctant partnership adds another layer of quiet tragedy, especially when Aki risks his lifespan for someone who barely cares to live.

Reze changes everything about Denji, who never know love or school life. She takes him on a nighttime “school date” and teaches him how to swim under stormy skies. Denji has fallen hard for Reze.
During their "school date", a mysterious man attacks Reze, without Denji realises. However, Reze who seems helpless and weak before manages to kill him with chilling precision, all the while, her smile remains unchanged. And when she kisses Denji, she reveals her true self. Reze is the Bomb Devil herself, who wants Chainman's heart - his literal heart.
Along with Beam, Denji fights the Bomb Devil, who has the Typhoon Devil fights alongside here. Tokyo is now thrown in major chaos, with Denji riding Beam while fighting the duo devil, with Aki and Angel Devil fights in too.
Who will have Denji's heart at the end? And at what cost?
