Purrever Healthy: Royal Canin Brings Its First Public Event to Malaysia |  Royal Canin Malaysia marked a significant milestone this August with its very first public showcase, Purrever Healthy, at the bustling Orange Concourse in Sunway Pyramid. From Thursday, 7 August to Sunday, 10 August 2025, the four-day celebration of all things feline drew pet parents, cat lovers, and curious shoppers into a vibrant world dedicated to #LifeLongHealth.

More than a gathering, Purrever Healthy was a living expression of Royal Canin’s mission: A Better World for Pets. Designed to be equally educational, interactive, and entertaining, the event championed precise nutrition, responsible ownership, and preventive care from a pet’s earliest days to adulthood.

“As a brand committed to shaping a healthier future for pets, we wanted this event to be a meaningful experience for Malaysian pet parents,” said Ms. Teh Meng Li, Market Head of Royal Canin Malaysia. “Even small early decisions—like the right diet or a safe home—can have a lifelong impact on a pet’s wellbeing.”

An Experience in Four Purr-fect Chapters

Upon registering, visitors received a Mission Stamp Card - an interactive guide to four themed stations. Completing all four earned a collectable door gift and a finished mission artwork, making the experience as memorable as it was fun.

• Pick Your Breed: A striking wall displayed 26 cat breeds in all their glory. Guests voted for their favourites, sparking conversations about breed traits and lifestyle compatibility. “I never realised how different each breed’s personality can be,” said visitor Aina Rahman. “It’s made me think more carefully about the kind of cat that would fit my family’s lifestyle.”

• Love Letter to Your Cat: Guests wrote heartfelt notes on cat-shaped cards, creating a wall of affection. “I’ve had my cat for 12 years,” shared attendee Farid Hashim, smiling as he hung his note. “Writing it down made me appreciate our bond even more.”

• Cat Discovery Centre: The event’s heart, this immersive zone featured a kitten-safe home, whimsical “Meowseum,” and a life-sized living room. Over 40 cats from 10+ breeds mingled with visitors while partner breeders shared care insights. “Meeting the cats in person and learning directly from breeders was such an eye-opener,” said university student Sarah Lim.

• Photo Check-In Station: Visitors ended their journey with playful photos against Royal Canin-themed backdrops, tagging @royalcaninmalaysia to complete their mission.

Beyond the Stations: Learning, Giving, and Growing Together

On Saturday and Sunday, free veterinary consultations gave attendees a chance to discuss diet, behaviour, and health with registered vets. 

“I found out my kitten’s diet was lacking certain nutrients—now I know exactly what to adjust,” said first-time pet parent Kelvin Ong.

In a gesture of community care, Royal Canin pledged an additional 10% of all event sales to partner animal shelters, helping pets still waiting for their forever homes.
