From the World of John Wick: Ballerina [Movie Review] | Finally Ballerina drops. I went and watched this with my sis.
Is it as good as John Wick? And would it be fair to compare it with the movies?

Eve Macarro was born into the shadows. Her father, Javier, a ruthless Kikimora of the Ruska Roma, and her mother, a loyal member of the Cult, were both assassins. In order to give Eve a normal life, Javier betrayed the Cult, taking young Eve and vanishing. Her mother has to pay for the betrayal with her life.
The Cult’s Chancellor wants Eve back. In a brutal assault on her home, Eve’s protectors are slaughtered, and Javier is mortally wounded. With his final breath, he ensures Eve’s escape. She’s taken in by Winston Scott of the New York Continental and handed over to the Ruska Roma, where she pledges vengeance under the eye of the Director.
Over the next 12 years, Eve trains as both ballerina and assassin, mastering the art of the Kikimora under the strict tutelage of Nogi. In passing, she meets John Wick, who urges her to walk away from the blood-soaked path. She doesn’t listen.

Her first major assignment is to protect Katla Park, an heiress, which she does with brutal efficiency. Her reputation grows. But after a successful contract, she’s attacked by a Cultist. When she demands answers, the Director forbids her from seeking revenge—bound by an ancient truce. Eve disobeys.
She heads to the Prague Continental where a Cult defector, Daniel Pine, is in hiding. There, she meets his daughter, Ella, and learns Pine once escaped the Cult too. When assassins break the rules and attack, Eve helps Pine escape—but not without cost. Pine is gravely wounded, and Ella is kidnapped.
Chasing vengeance, Eve tracks the Cult to Hallstatt, a town crawling with assassins. Captured and brought before the Chancellor, dark truths are revealed: Pine is his son. Ella, his granddaughter. And Lena, Eve’s enemy, is actually her older sister—left behind by Javier in his escape. Amidst the chaos, Lena dies while Eve manage to escape.
The Chancellor declares war on the Ruska Roma. To prevent it, the Director sends John Wick to take Eve down.
Will John be the end of Eve?

MY REVIEW
What I Like:
- I love the choreo.
- And I love a bad ass girl.
- Somehow, I kinda comparing it to Ballerina (2023)a of South Korea.
What I Don't Like:
- Perhaps to match Ana's rhythm, Keanu seems a bit slow in his fighting scenes.
Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I don't mind watching it again.
Overall: 4.6/ 5.0
