So, what will happen to the movie?

• The producer claims that Titanfall is the inspiration for the film. 

The movie takes place in the future where AI rules the world. Harlan, a humanoid AI terrorist reigns over the world. He wages war against human, claiming the lives of millions. 

In order to stop him, the world nations form the International Coalition of Nations (ICN) to battle Harlan and his AI forces. When ICN seems to closing in on him, Harlan flees to a new planet. 

Years later, we meet Atlas Shepherd, an analyst who has set her mind in bringing down Harlan. Turns out that Atlas' mother was the one created Harlan and seemingly gave him the will to turn against human. 

Atlas is also in a mission to a new galaxy to stop Harlan at his tracks as she is the only who has the inside knowledge about Harlan. However, the crew was ambushed by Harlan's forces, leaving only Atlas and Smith, an AI-powered mecha suit to fend for themselves. The suit's name is Smith and albeit reluctant, Atlas has to sync with Smith if she is to survive on the foreign planet and in battle against Harlan and his AI forces. 

Atlas and Smith are captured by Harlan. Harlan digs out security codes from Atlas' brain to get past Earth's defense as he is determined to exterminate human. He then leaves Atlas to die. 

Can Atlas save the world and will she ever trust AI again? Who is Harlan to Atlas?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 3.7/ 5.0 Predictable plot. We've seen a stronger JLo in movies before and she was better in those action movies. A OK movie to watch to kill time.

What I Like: The storyline and the camera shot. Cast is just ok. 

What I Don't Like: Some CGI looks wonky. Simu Liu could have more scenes - showing his actions and his muchhatred towards human. 

Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I probably will but not among my top 20 movies to watch to kill time.
