Moonfall [Movie Review] | I have been watching the trailer and I must admit that I was impressed with it.

So, it is only natural that I watch it when it airs, right?

• The wallpaper pattern at the hotel where KC was presenting matches the iconic wallpaper in The Shining. This seems to be a nod to the rumor that the moon landing was fake.
  
• Josh Gad was originally cast as KC but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts.
  

In 2011, while on a satellite repair mission, Harper and his crew were attacked by a mysterious black swarm, originating from the moon. The crew died and Jocinda was out during the whole attack, leaving only Harper to defend his story when they were interrogated about the death. Harper was fired.

Ten years later, K.C. Houseman (KC) steals information from a research telescope and realises that Moon's orbit is out of its usual orbit. KC, who believes that the Moon is an artificial structure built by aliens, tries to share his finding with Harper, who dismisses him. Not one to quit his effort, KC shares his findings online.

Eventually, NASA discovers the anomaly and tries to investigate the anomaly. While hovering over the Moon, the same swarm attacks the ship and this time, all is recorded and shared back to Earth. But not all was lost as the crew managed to drop a probe into a 20-odd km hole in the Moon. 

As the Moon gets closer to Earth, more cataclysmic disasters happen throughout the globe. 

Jo, now learns that Apollo 11 had discovered abnormalities in the Moon and the secret behind the two-minute radio blackout. She calls out to Harper and KC to assist her with her save-the Moon-mission, all with the retired space shuttle. 

As the crew nears the Moon and enters the hole, they are about to get the surprise of their lives.  

Will they be able to save the Moon and return to the Earth to share about the surprise?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.4/ 5.0 The movie is kinda too fast paced that some details were left  to our imaginations - and some were not beautifully crafted. 

Nevertheless, it was a fun and nerve-wrecking movie to watch. 

Cast: 4.4/ 5.0 Everyone delivers but I know that Halle and Patrick could have excelled with a much better script.

Will I Watch It Again: I don't mind watching it again.
