| A powerful collaboration - Brandt International and Cazar |
Brandt International Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Cazar, has just launched their innovative new career site, YourNextStep. The site aims to attract top talent and employers in the region.
When asked during the launch [June 16th 2015] as to why launching a job portal, Ms Munirah Looi (Founder and CEO of Brandt International) states that more than half of the world population is connected via their mobile phones and 35% Malaysians are 'mobile only'. However, the employers face challenges capturing high-quality talent as only a handful of the employers have an accessible career website.

Together with Cazar, Brandt International develop the website into a mobile responsive digital platform that will be used for all of Brandt's recruitment activities which includes the company's social media streams and blog that will certainly appeal to the Gen Y generations. Mr Stefan Sawh, Regional Director of Cazar believes that in order to capture the best fit for a certain post, the companies must get 'personal' with the job seekers. Thus engaging them with a good career site and connected via social media is a must. During a panel discussion entitled "The Changing Face of Talent Acquisition - How Malaysians Employers Can Tune In" facilitated by Ms Vera Tay (Regional Talent Development Director, Brandt International), all the panelists agreed that profiling a future employee is important before welcoming him/ her on-board. The panelists of the discussion are Ms Munirah Looi, Mr Stefan Sawh and Ms Sangeeta Kaur (CEO Emergenetics Malaysia & Brunei).
With the launch and the MoU between Brandt International and Cazar signed, we could expect a rigorous promotion effort going on in the region. This includes the job-seekers from the rural areas too.
