A Night with Aina Abdul - the Best Birthday Gift ever! | Aina Abdul is a name that needs no introduction anymore. Truth be told, I only knew her after her performance in Anugerah Juara Lagu 34 (AJL34) where she shared a message on self-harm and the video was banned.

Moving along, I started to love her songs and later, her fashion sense. Out of this world and definitely too early for Malaysia's audience. But not me - I love her theatrical garments and fashion. 

I missed out on the very first A Night With Aina Abdul and the second one was sold-out way fast than I could blink my eyes. 

I heard that A Night With Aina Abdul 3.0 (ANWAA3.0) will be happening on 18 November 2023, in my birthday month so I told myself that I should treat myself to the concert. When the online ticket counter opened, I immediately chose my ticket (MIP) but upon checking out, the whole MIP seats were sold-out.  I settled for the VVIP one. 

Not long after, on her birthday, she announced there will be more MIP on sale and I was determined to get my hands on one. I managed to secure the MIP ticket and I sold the VVIP one to another friend. 

Aina shouted in her Instagram that the theme for ANWAA3.0 is 'Aina Abdul'. Of course I consulted with my friend who managed to prepared the right outfit for me - a silver glitter ball outfit.

On the day of the concert, I arrived at Axiata Arena at 4 pm, just in time to pick up the merchandise and ready for the soundcheck session at 5 pm. She planned on only singing two songs during the soundcheck, and she ended up singing four songs, effortlessly! And she sang while sitting on the floor! 

At 9 pm, the concert starts and I kinda lost the sense of time. She sang most of her new songs from her album, dedicated a whole segment to sing Sharifah Aini's songs and Korean songs.

Altogether, she sang more than 30 songs throughout the 3-hour concert. She invited Khai Bahar, Haziq Rosebi and Lah Ahmad to also sing with her. She changed costumes during one of her invited singers' song and join them for their duet. 

And her stamina was superb! She gave her all throughout the concert, keep on climbing one song after another!

The concert ended somewhere after midnight and the Meet & Greet Session followed suit right after. There were 300 MIP seats sold, and around 250 stayed for the session.

My slot was around 3.30 am and it was worth the wait! We talked a bit, she remembered me from her concert in UKM and she wished me Happy Birthday!
