A Beautiful Event Space @ Royale Palace Skyview Cyberjaya | Of late, having a family gathering/ event/ occasion (wedding, birthday, baby shower etc) at event space is the most popular choice. Not that we Malaysians are not welcoming loved ones to our humble homes, we think that mingling around at a spacious and comfortable space is much nicer (at times, the humble home is a bit small to accommodate the whole group - this is my case hahaha).

Last weekend, I accompanied my friend to an event space in Cyberjaya as she is looking for a space for her upcoming wedding reception. We drove to Skytech Tower 2, Jalan Teknorat 2, Cyber 4, Cyberjaya. I love the fact that the parking spaces are abundant here, a plus point when attending an event. Nobody wants to walk more than 500m to the event space under the hot sun of Malaysia in a couture dress right?
We went straight up to Level 10 where Royale Palace Skyview is located. Befitting the wedding theme of the space, I feel like entering a beautiful palace into the hall. The dais is located across the room of a royal wedding table (meja makan beradat). The hall is beautifully and moderately designed and decorated - I never like an event space that is overly decorated -I'll feels suffocated. I didn't ask this the other day but I think one can request to enhance/ add-on to the decoration befitting one's event theme. But even in its own simplicity, the dais, the wedding table, and the hall are already beautiful.

The tables are arranged not too near from each other - this will make mingling and moving from tables much easier. I have attended events where the tables were arranged so close to each other that you have to literally push other's chairs just to get through.
And there's an open space too for those who want fresher air during the event. With a man-made fountain and a beautiful nest-like floral decoration - this is the centerpiece of the place I would say- the outdoor section certainly offers a totally different vibe from the indoor arena. It was comfortably windy that day and you could see a bit of Cyberjaya from the balcony. After taking in all the view, we sat down with the consultant and presented a few packages for her to choose from. My friend contemplated which package she wants and whether she wants to have her Akad Nikah here too. We went back and I know she will return after consulting with her parents.

As an event space, Royale Palace Skyview Cyberjaya is also open for rental for RM8,000 and comes with hall equipment. Other items are also available for rental too.

Some beautiful wedding attires from Althelia Amani collection were also on display. Flipping through their leaflet, the wedding dresses are gorgeous!

Brahms: The Boy II [Movie Review] | I watched The Boy and the idea of someone living inside my walls got me scared, until now (even though the walls are bricks haha).

So, when Brahms: The Boy II airs, I know I have to watch it - will there be another person living inside the walls lurking and waiting for an opportunity to haunt another family?

Liza was injured during a home invasion and her child, Jude was traumatized after watching her mother assaulted by the invaders. The trauma leaves him silent for many months, even after a series of counseling and therapy sessions. In their bid to cure Jude, Liza and Sean buys the guest house on the Heelshire's property and move Jude there.

Jude finds a porcelain doll buried in a shallow grave while exploring the woods with his parents. Happy that Jude is interested in new items, Liza allows Jude to bring the doll home and clean it before allowing Jude to play with it. The therapist believes that Jude is expressing his feelings via the doll and thus allows Jude to keep the doll.
But when Jude starts blaming Brahms for all the weird and unusual incidents around the house and he becomes withdrawn, Liza starts to feel like something eerie and amiss is happening to her family. Jude becomes attached to Brahm as the day goes by. When Liza sees what Jude has drawn on his notepad, Liza becomes more concerned about the link between Jude and Brahms.

Why is Jude so attached to Brahms? Will the family ever get their picture-perfect family relationships again?

MY REVIEW Plot: 4.0/ 5.0 This one is considerably mildly horror, to my standard. Not as surprising as the first one but I love the strong family connection shown in the movie - how parents will do anything for their kid and that's where the sinister spirit feeds from.
Cast: 4.5/ 5.0 Great play by Katie, Christopher, and Owain.
Will I watch it again: I don't mind watching it again with the right people. The pictures are taken from IMDb and other sources on the Internet. Thank you.

Haqqi Bangi Relocation Launch | Since I was first introduced to Haqqi in 2018, it has always been my go-to place to buy Raya clothes and will always promote the store to my friends who are looking for hajj and umrah necessities. With its stores located in Shah Alam, Bangi Sentral, TTDI and Terengganu, I would say that it is very convenient to visit the physical store.

Or just visit the web if you love online shopping [Haqqi Store]. As for me, I will always stop by at Haqqi @ Bangi Sentral just to window-shop.
Recently, Haqqi @ Bangi Sentral relocated to a much better place - an end lot with ample parking spaces and in the center of Bangi Sentral. When I received an invitation to its grand opening event, I immediately accepted the invite without any hesitation (also because the venue is just 5 minutes away from my office).
Haqqi, being a one-stop center for Hajj and Umrah Necessities Supplier also promotes beautiful, functional and up-to-date Islamic fashion items for all.

2020 marks the 4th year Haqqi in collaboration with Koperasi Tabung Haji and will further carry out a set of plans to ensure Haqqi remains a provider of Hajj and Umrah equipment to the community while spreading the wings to sell the complete Haj and Umrah equipment not only in Malaysia but abroad.

This year, under the new management of Dr. Fitri Haris, coupled with cooperation and support from Koperasi Tabung Haji, both dreams of more success to come. Dr. Fitri Haris, who had been Haqqi's Ambassador for a year, also received a sponsorship from Haqqi during his appearance at the Gema Gegar Vaganza competition. After the launch, I literally ran into the store as I want to search for a maroon baju melayu as I have a wedding to attend this coming weekend. And once again, I was spoilt for choices when I was inside the store. I literally have to only focus on one pattern and ask for assistance from the salesperson to find the right size for me. If I were to roam freely inside the store, it might take me a few hours to have my eyes set on a pair of baju melayu - there were so many designs and colours!

Now I understand why my friends could spend hours in the store - it is literally a one-stop center for all Muslim fashion items and not only for hajj and umrah necessities. They have the latest fashion items for male, female and for children here - it will be very easy to find a colour theme clothes for the whole family!

While you are it, might as well join the 'Beli & Menang di Haqqi' contest and you might win yourself a dream vacation, among other attractive prizes. Just spend RM250 (min) and start wishing upon the falling star.
