Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight [Movie Review] | I think binge-watching movies and series on Netflix is the new norms nowadays (at least I am). I will pick the ones that I like in the list of upcoming movies in Netflix and set a reminder - and this one happened to be one of the many.

It's the month of October and I am in the mood for horror movies (ain't I always?), so why not?

The movie started with a scene where a nosy guy being pulled into a cellar when he tried to ascertain a grunting noise coming from the old and horror looking house, while the lady of the house was trying to wash away the blood stains on a dress.
Then the movie shifted to show a bunch of technology-addicted teenagers arriving at a camp in the middle of Poland, and the most sacred rule of the camp is NO TECHNOLOGY at all.

Zosia, Julek, Aniela, Bartek and Daniel is assigned to a group being led by Ms Iza and off they go to hike into the wilderness for three days.
Back to the horror house, the lady fell into the cellar while trying to lift an animal. Then the creature in the cellar seems to walk out of the space after seemingly killing the lady.
That first night in the woods, Daniel became the first victim of the creature. In the morning, after realising that Daniel is missing, Ms Iza, Zosia and Julek went to search for Daniel, while Aniela stayed back looking after the injured Bartek.

The three came upon the house and went in. They discovered the cellar and what's left of Daniel there, along with some other discomposing corpses. Ms Iza was killed by the huge man-creature and Zosia and Julek managed to escape.
But will the teens survive the creature and return to the modern world in one piece?

MY REVIEW
Plot: 2.8 / 5.0 I was already predicting the end of the movie not 20 minutes into the movie. It has that old horror movie feeling - complete with the blood gore scenes and all. But I was actually waiting for the surprises/ scary parts in the movie but there was none.
I know I was supposed to be enjoying the movie without thinking about it too much, but there are scenes where the most simple logic is not applied that got me thinking 'Oh! Come on! That's super obvious.'
Cast: 3.3/ 5.0 The actors delivered their parts half way and a bit more. But I must compliment the make-up and the effects in the movie - it was very good actually.
Will I watch it again: No. Thank you. I fallen asleep on my first time and had to rewatch just to finish it.
The pictures are taken from multiple sources on the Internet. Thank you.
