Unhinged [Movie Review] | When I read rave reviews of the movie, I know that I have to watch it for myself - just to be sure whether they reviews were exaggerated or the truth.

The movie started with an distraught man ran amuck inside a house after breaking into it and apparently, killed the people inside it. He left the house moments before it exploded.

The next morning the story was all over the news. The man, Tom Cooper, was recently divorced and the couple that he just killed the night before was his ex-wife and her lover.

Rachel, a newly divorced mother of one, Kyle, lives in a house with her brother and his fiance. In order to reach Kyle's school on time, Rachel decided to use the freeway, against Kyle's wish. And it turned out that the freeway was also in a massive jam. She drove into the service way again and stopped behind a pickup truck in front of a traffic light. When the light turns green and the truck did not move, Rachel honked a few times before finally decided to over take the truck, with some curse words thrown underneath her breathe - just to be caught in another jam not far in front.

The truck owner, Tom Cooper, drives by and rolls down his window, demanding an apology from Rachel for being rude to him. Not giving in into his demand, Rachel decided to drive away from the truck, only to realise that Tom is persistent in demanding her apology and follows her.

A chase ensued before Rachel managed to outrun Tom and dropped Kyle at school. On her way to see her divorce lawyer cum best friend, Rachel stopped at a gas station to refuel her car. Then she realised that Tom followed her to the station. After sharing her fear about Tom, a customer inside the gas station offered to accompany Rachel back to her car and take the truck's registration number, before contacting the police should the truck follows Rachel.

And that guy was ran over by Tom when he tried to stop the truck from chasing Rachel. Rachel then realised that her phone is missing and that the truck driver has her phone.

Rachel has managed to outran Tom. Or did she now? Now Tom is aiming to hurt all the people in her address book - starting from Kyle.

What would Rachel do? Will she be able to stop the angry truck driver?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.6/ 5.0 Of course we can predict the ending of the movie - with butterflies and kisses. But you'll be riding on an heightened emotional roller coaster throughout the movie. And by the end of the movie, you'll think of your actions towards other motorists whenever you are driving.

The actions are extreme in the movie! Don't bring kids ok!

Cast: 4.7/ 5.0 No complaint whatsoever about the cast. Those who matters, delivers.

Will I watch it again: I don't mind watching it again.

The pictures are taken from IMDb and other sources on the Internet. Thank you.
