Independence Day: Resurgence [Movie Review]7:30 AM
Are we ready?
Twenty years after the first invasion, Earth has a united defense program and is practically preparing for the next attack. The defense system is upgraded by combining and enhancing the alien's technology that was left behind after the first attack.
I do not know why the others don't want to walk with me
While recovering the alien ship in Africa, David Levinson, and the team realizes that the ship has sent a distress call to the outer space right before they were defeated.
Umbutu and the former US President, Whitmore have been having unexplained visions of an alien symbol that Dr. Catherine deciphered as a telepathic vision since these two humans have had mind contacts with the aliens before.
This is not the designated parking area?
Meanwhile, a spaceship ensembles the alien symbol suddenly emerged from a wormhole near the Moon defense headquarters. President Elizabeth made the executive decision to shoot it down before even knowing its purpose. The ship crashed on the moon surface.
Just as Jake Morrison picked up the ship, his ship was caught in a gravitational force of a huge alien ship that went to the Earth and started ripping all the landmarks from the world before dropping them all on London.
It seems like the aliens don't like the way we decorated the Earth
I think it is rude for an outsider to start rearranging the decoration of one's house
Jake escaped from the gravitational pull and headed towards Area 51 where all the pilot fighters prepared to engage with the alien ship.
The alien ship started to drill in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. President Elizabeth was killed during an attack at Cheyenne Mountain Complex and a new president was sworn in.
That is way too big of a ship you have there
And I am supposed to listen to this long-haired guy who has just woken up?
Meanwhile, the captured aliens were all started rejoicing as they realized that help has come.
Will Earth survive the second attack?
We are off to the Raya sales now!
The Act: 4.4/ 5.0. Luckily, the act saved the movie from being too predictable and boring. A good quality act from the actors, not an awesome one.
Will I watch it again: Probably not but I will buy the DVD.
