Are you into fitness?
I am but I am more into a sociable type of fitness activities (the likes of Zumba, Aerodance - training that involves dancing basically). I not into running or cycling as I find that it is hard to talk to your friends when you are puffing air just to finish the track. Hahaha.
What about you?

Being a dancer when I was in my uni years, Zumba moves are quite manageable for me to follow. I could dance for hours and I love the sweaty wet condition I was in at the end of class. I remember when I attended a 3-hour Zumba contest session at "Perhimpunan Sejuta Belia", I was on the floor non-stop and loving every single minute of it!

So, when Misz Ella invited me to join a 2 - hour Zumba session, I was all in! Without any hesitation, I agreed to the invitation.

After a short stop at Adidas MidValley (bought the compression long pants), my group (Jae Hashim and Anggerek) and I arrived just a wee bit late for the opening. There, I saw the ever friendly Dee, Misz Ella, Miera and Cindy were already busting their killer moves to the K-Pop songs!

I jumped right in and started following the Zins's steps, accompanied with some of the best K-Pop songs I have ever heard. I stopped a few times for a selfie/ wefie session with the gang before jumped back into the routine.

Work Out Studio, your Zumba Zins were amazing! I love the drama and the attitude of the Zins - it added that extra 'umph' to the dance routines! If you are looking for a fun time while working out, head on to their FB (Work Out Studio) now and book a session.
By the end of the two-hour session, I was soaking wet from head to toe and TOTALLY LOVING IT!
I learnt one thing that is most crucial about Zumba - you do as you feel like and do not care whether your moves are correct or in sync with the Zins, you are not auditioning for a Britney Spear's video clip or So You Think You Can Dance. Just enjoy the dance and be healthy!

How Often Should You Weigh Yourself?

Stressing over the number on the scale?

For the past 2 months, I have been obsessed of weighing myself. I will weigh myself the very first thing in the morning and later before turning in to sleep. Obsessed much?
How much is too much and when in the correct/ right time @ how often should I weigh myself?
According to MyFitnessPal blog, it is ok to occasionally weigh yourself, just to be sure that you are on the right track towards healthier body mass.
Daily Weigh-Ins This is so me. I love to weigh myself daily just to keep reminding myself of my goals. Just remember not to stress about the fluctuations. If the increase of 0.5 kg bothers you and affects your mood and behaviour, then stop your daily weigh-ins. The number is just that - a number.
Weekly Weigh-Ins After six days of a healthy lifestyle, weighing yourself to track the progress could be very rewarding. Pick a consistent day each week and weigh yourself in the morning. This practice could spare you the roller-coaster of mood if you have been doing daily weigh-ins and get affected by the daily numbers.
One point for us to ponder - weight fluctuations are common because our weights are affected by various factors - weather, bathroom habits, how hydrated we are and the daily exercise routine. A few kgs of weight fluctuations are usually not fat gain but a result of our body regulating its physiological functions. However if the increase in weight occurs daily, then you have to start re-evaluating your daily habits - you might be eating too much unnecessarily, lacking in exercise, the routine has become a habit and the body loses it resistance towards the routine and so many more reasons.

The correct way to weigh yourself

Whatever you have been doing, just do something that makes you feel good daily cause stress could also cause weight fluctuations. Weigh in every day or weekly is up to the individual. As for me, I love to weigh myself every morning - the very first thing in the morning after I wake up.

Enjoy Food, Healthily Says Chef Wan

Most of us have a wrong definition/ action when we are on a diet - we simply skip meals whereas we are supposed to have complete and HEALTHY meals. By skipping meals, you simply put the body on a hunger mode and end up, eat more that you should at the end of the day. Not mentioning that it is also unhealthy to skip meals too.

Chef Wan told us that we should not deprive ourselves of food that we love to eat. We can eat Nasi Lemak, Curry Laksa and Asam Laksa (WHAT?????) whenever that we want to. Just change the ingredients to the organic ones.

When I asked Chef Wan about the high price of organic foods, he asked me to compare the price of health and organic foods. Sometimes all we need to do is prioritize!
Why should we change to organic food? Pot Pet Bonda explains it so well in her write up. Some of the benefits are as below:

And people tend to think that consuming organic food refers to less tasty food for you! Boy, were we proven wrong by Chef Wan.
He prepared for us three lip-smacking and Malaysian loving food during the meetup - Curry Laksa, Asam Laksa and all time favorite, Nasi Lemak with Soy Chicken Rendang.

Truthfully said, I was a bit skeptical about the taste of the food prepared with organic ingredients. But when my order arrives, the Curry Laksa tastes sooooooooo yuuuummmmmmmy! Even tastier than the normal ones (the evil ones hahahah)!

I even tried all the other cuisines and amazingly, the taste is even better than the original ones. With organics food, we are not depriving ourselves of the flavours that we have grown familiar too - except that we deprive ourselves of all the health-risk.

The Jungle Book

Growing up, reading The Jungle Book always brought me to an imaginative forest where human and animals are able to communicate to one another, just like Mowgli and the forest animals.
So, when The Jungle Book hit the theatre, I couldn't possibly not watching my imaginative forest come to live.
SYNOPSIS Mowgli lives with Akela and Raksha, a couple of wolves that leads the pack since Bagheera (the black panther) brought him when he was a baby.

The undivided love of a mother towards her children, Raksha love Mowgli as her own

Mowgli has since been hunted by Shere Khan, a fearsome scarred tiger as the scar on its face was caused by Mowgli's father with 'red flower' when Shere Khan attacked the father and his baby in a cave. Shere Khan killed Mowgli's father before running into the wood, oblivious to the fact that baby Mowgli was safely hidden in the cafe. That was when Bagheera met the wondering baby Mowgli before he gave the baby to the wolf couple, Akela and Raksha.
Growing up with the wolves, Mowgli lives as a wolf and learns all the tricks of the jungle together with his brothers and sisters. His mother, Raksha and Akela, loves him dearly as ttheir own.

During the driest season that has ever happened to Seeonee (the jungle where the animals live) except for a pool of water around the Peace Rock, Mowgli came across Shere Khan for the first time since the death of his father. Due to the Peace Truce, Shere Khan cannot harm another living being until the water returns to the valley. But he vows to take Mowgli's life once the river returns.
When it finally rains, the pack debated whether they should defend Mowgli and face the fact that they might lose some of their own along the fight. Mowgli decided that he should move from the crowd and Bagheera agreed to bring Mowgli back to the human settlement outside of Seeonee.
Along the way, Mowgli met different animals that soon become his best friends or fearsome foes.

Shere Khan met Akela to claim Mowgli but was disappointed when he learned that Mowgli has left the pact. Angry, Shere Khan killed Akela by throwing him from the mountain and claimed the mountain as his own until Mowgli returns and faces his death by Shere Khan's paws or sharp teeth.

Upon learning of Akela's death, Mowgli darted back into the forest, determined to avenged his father's death. But he knew that only one thing could harm Shere Khan - the red flower - which he doesn't have.
Will Mowgli be able to avenge Akela's death? Will peace return to Seeonee?
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.9/ 5.0. John Favreau has done a great job in bringing the tale to live and the scenes are seamless.

The Act: 4.9/ 5.0. Neel Seethi has done a very good job in portraying Mowgli. The emotions are real and I love the flawless CGI of all the animals.
Will I Watch It Again: I do not mind watching it again, perhaps in a D-Box Atmos.
